About Us - History

Army Goodwill School, Ahagom has been constr by the Army under the aegis of HQ Victor Force with a view to provide better educational facilities and a secure envt to the children of Ahagom and surrounding vill.  The foundation of the school was laid in 1998 and was completed in Oct 1999.  The school was inaugurated on 07 May 2000 by the, then Home Minister, Mr LK Advani.  The Army is providing every possible help and guidance to the governing body of this school for its smooth functioning.  The school is at present running up to class 10th. 55 RR (GRENADIERS) has left no stone unturned to make the school one of the finest in the entire Kashmir valley.
